Death Cab for Cutie have announced a series of four shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Grammy-nominated 2005 album, Plans. The gigs will take place in Seattle (August 2), Chicago (August 5), and Brooklyn (August 8 and 10). Nation of Language will be the opening act in Seattle and Chicago, while American Analog Set will support the Brooklyn shows. Tickets go on sale on February 14. (Rolling Stone)


Paul McCartney played a surprise show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday night (February 11). Tickets for this intimate show from the Beatles legend sold-out in under 30 minutes. This was McCartney’s first show of 2025, following his 2022-2024 Got Back Tour. No word on if McCartney will perform additional shows in the U.S., or if this was just a special one-off gig from the music icon. (Rolling Stone)
