Meegan Hodges, girlfriend of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, has paid loving tribute to her late daughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, to help raise awareness during National Suicide Prevention Month. Knight died by suicide at the age of 25 back on July 19. In an Instagram post on Monday (September 2), Hodges posted a series of candid photos from throughout Knight’s life, along with the first slide that shares information about September being National Suicide Prevention Month and sharing a number for the crisis hotline for anyone who needs help. Hodges captioned her post, “🩵 Lucy-Bleu Knight 🩵 12/6/1998-7/19/2024,” along with these hashtags, “#suicideawarness #bekind #988 #restinpeacemybeautifuldaughter.”
Hodges’ recent post follows an August 24 post made in loving memory of Knight, where Meegan wrote: “Thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences from everyone. You have touched all of our hearts as Lucy-Bleu has touched yours. She will forever be missed but never forgotten. It’s impossible to forget Lucy-Bleu with all the light and energy she had on this planet. I love you my baby girl. 💕” (People)
