3 Doors Down Singer Brad Arnold Reveals Stage 4 Kidney Cancer Diagnosis

In an emotional Instagram video shared on Wednesday (May 7), 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold revealed that he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer. “Got some not so good news for you today,” Arnold shared in the clip. “So, I’d been sick a couple of weeks ago and then went to the hospital and got checked out, and actually got the diagnosis that I had a clear cell renal cell carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung. And it’s stage four, and that’s not real good.” The singer went on to express his unwavering courage and faith in the face of the diagnosis, stating, “I have no fear. I really sincerely am not scared of it at all. And I’d love for you to lift me up in prayer every chance you get.” The announcement led to the immediate cancellation of all of the band’s scheduled tour dates, including their headlining shows, festival appearances, and support dates with Creed, as well as an upcoming performance at Morgan Wallen‘s Sand In My Boots festival.
