Duran Duran Reunite With Longtime Collaborator Nile Rodgers At Abbey Road Studios

Over the weekend, Duran Duran reunited with their longtime friend and collaborator Nile Rodgers at London’s history Abbey Road Studios. Duran Duran shared a photo taken with Rodgers on Instagram on Sunday, captioning the post, “Working with our good friend Nile at Abbey Road Studios this weekend. Stay tuned…”  Rodgers also shared the reunion on his social media channels, writing, “We had as much fun working yesterday as ever!” This marks the first time they have worked together in a decade, dating back to Duran Duran’s 2015 album, Paper Gods, which featured the funk-driven single, “Pressure Off,” with Janelle Monáe which cracked the Top 10 in both the U.S. and U.K. The iconic U.K. band’s history with Rodgers dates back over 40 years, with the Chic frontman remixing their 1984 No. 1 hit, “The Reflex,” and producing “The Wild Boys.” Duran Duran is gearing up for their 2025 European and U.K. tour, with Rodgers and Chic as the special guest opening act.
