Hayley Williams, Maynard James Keenan, Steve Albini Featured In New Failure Documentary Coming To Hulu

Failure will be the focus of the upcoming documentary, Every Time You Lose Your Mind, which is set to premiere on Hulu and Disney+ on June 27. The trailer for the long-in-the-works rock doc – which is directed by the band’s singer/multi-instrumentalist Ken Andrewswas released on Monday (June 2). The film explores the cult alt-rock band’s history and impact, featuring interviews with key music figures like Steve Albini, Butch Vig, Tool’s Maynard James Keenan, and Paramore’s Hayley Williams. “Our fans have connected with the themes of depression and addiction in our music,” Andrews said in a statement. “The film crystallizes those connections and, ultimately, communicates hope. We’re a band that faced a specific set of challenges and somehow managed to survive and thrive.” The documentary will also have a big-screen premiere at Los Angeles’ Harmony Gold Theater on June 26, followed by a rare acoustic set by Failure, who are also scheduled to perform at Louisville’s Louder Than Life and Sacramento’s Aftershock Festivals later this year.
