Metallica, Billy Idol, Eddie Vedder, Depeche Mode Set To Take Part In 2025 Tribeca Festival

The Tribeca Festival has just revealed its 2025 lineup, which features bands and musicians such as Metallica, Eddie Vedder, Depeche Mode, and Billy Idol showcasing documentaries at the festival. Vedder and Idol will also perform following screenings of their respective films – Matter of Time and Billy Idol Should Be Dead – while members of Metallica will engage in a conversation alongside director Jonas Åkerlund after the screening of their documentary, Metallica Saved My Life. Miley Cyrus will premiere her visual album Something Beautiful, followed by a conversation, and Depeche Mode will discuss their concert film, Depeche Mode M, which was shot over the course of three sold-out shows in Mexico City in 2023. Other artists set to attend or perform include Becky G, Wizkid, and Ty Dolla $ign, with documentaries on Counting Crows and Culture Club also being shown. The festival will run from June 4th through June 15th, with package tickets available and individual film tickets going on sale to the general public starting April 29th. (Consequence of Sound)
