Patti Smith Announces ‘Horses’ 50th Anniversary World Tour

Patti Smith is embarking on a fall 2025 tour to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her influential debut album, Horses. Smith will be joined on the tour by longtime collaborators Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, with all shows featuring a performance of Horses in its entirety. The 20-date tour kicks off in Dublin on October 6, with additional shows planned across Europe and the U.S., before finishing up in Philadelphia on November 29. “Please join us to help celebrate the final ride of our irreverent thoroughbred,” reads the tour announcement, which will mark the first time in 20 years that Smith has performed the whole album. Smith will also be honored at a star-studded concert at Carnegie Hall on March 26 dubbed, “People Have the Power: Celebrating the Music of Patti Smith.” The show will feature appearances by Michael Stipe, Kim Gordon, Matt Berninger, Karen O, and more. Tickets for the tour go on sale on February 14 at 10 a.m. local time, with a pre-sale launching on February 12. (Billboard)
