Sharon Osbourne Reveals She Kicked A Band Off Lineup Of Final Black Sabbath Concert

In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she removed an unnamed band from the lineup of the final Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne concert, following a dispute with the group’s manager. “I had a huge, huge to-do with a manager over this celebration for Ozzy and Sabbath,” Sharon disclosed. “And it was probably the worst way I’ve felt in years. And I don’t care what this person says about me, thinks about it, because he doesn’t know me. And he’s now going around making up bulls**t lies because I threw his band off the bill.” Sharon squashed the rumor that the band was Iron Maiden, due to her feud with singer Bruce Dickinson dating back to the 2005 Ozzfest. “Oh god, no,” Sharon clarified. “Ozzy only has respect for the guys in Maiden.” There was speculation that Tool was the mystery band, due to the group not being listed in the promotion for Back to the Beginning’s paid livestream, but that turned out to be a design oversight that has since been corrected.
