The trailer for the long-in-the-works rock doc – which is directed by the band’s singer/multi-instrumentalist Ken Andrewswas released on Monday (June 2). The film explores the cult alt-rock band’s history and impact, featuring interviews with key music figures like Steve Albini, Butch Vig, Tool’s Maynard James Keenan, and Paramore’s Hayley Williams. “Our fans have connected with the themes of depression and addiction in our music,” Andrews said in a statement. “The film crystallizes those connections and, ultimately, communicates hope.
